In the Bestiary of the Hypogriph, one of our projects is we save information about worldbuiding that gets scrubbed and destroyed by webpages lacking in maintenance. I myself lost a forum with around 40 thousand messages. Exporting and importing in as many formats as possible is a big plus and very necessary.
