General Conduct
Professionalism and Respect: All team members are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and respect in all interactions, both within the team and towards other volunteers and the community. Treat colleagues with courtesy, openness, and understanding.
Communication: Effective communication is crucial. Keep team members informed about your work, progress, and any challenges you may be facing. Be proactive in sharing relevant information and responsive to inquiries.
Collaboration: The Technology team is a collaborative effort. Foster a culture of teamwork, knowledge sharing, and mutual support. Encourage open discussions and value diverse perspectives to enhance problem-solving.
Responsibility and Accountability: Take ownership of your tasks and projects. Be accountable for your actions and decisions. If mistakes occur, focus on solutions and learning opportunities rather than assigning blame.
Documentation: Thorough and up-to-date documentation is essential. Document your work processes, configurations, and incident resolutions. This helps maintain transparency and ensures that knowledge is shared across the team.
Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices. Encourage and support ongoing learning within the team. Share insights and experiences to contribute to the collective knowledge.

Volunteer Conduct Policy: Volunteer Conduct Policy#General Conduct as written on January 25, 2024 shall apply to all members of the Technology team. The Director of Technology will be responsible for enforcement within their department.
Failure to adhere to this conduct policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including revocation of access and removal from the team.
